About Us
Our Lakeland Electrician company was started by Mr. Lipscomb in 1922, as Lipscomb Electric. E. Harold Wilson Sr. came to work as the bookkeeper and his son, E. Harold Wilson Jr. (Harold) came to work as an electrician. Harold purchased the business and changed the name to Wilson Electric in 1960 and became a Florida Corporation in 1967. In 1998, Harold turned the business and all shares over to his daughter, Dianne W. Bishop, who ran the company through 2018. In 2019 Dianne appointed Alisa L Ousley, who had been with the company over 26 years, to run the company and in October of 2022 Alisa purchased the company from Dianne.
